If you have received your Guild approval email, double congratulations! Here are your next steps for becoming a Guild student at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte MicroBootCamps:

Tech Requirements

Students may be required to download software to complete coursework as part of this program and should have access to a personal computer in order to download and access the required software. This software may not be downloadable or accessible on an employer-issued computer.

The University of North Carolina at Charlotte MicroBootCamps learners will need the following equipment in order to successfully participate in the program:

Personal laptop meeting the following specifications: Windows 10/macOS Version 10.14 (Mojave) or higher (NOT LINUX) CPU: dual-core, 64 bit; At least 8GB of RAM; Hard drive with at least 64GB of available space.
Webcam and headphones with a microphone
High-speed internet connection (with a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 5 Mbps)
Second monitor is recommended but not required" for The University of North Carolina at Charlotte MicroBootCampsprograms in order to complete coursework.

Please make sure that you have the required tech necessary to successfully participate in the program.

1 — Make Sure You're Eligible

Check to make sure you're eligible for your company's education benefit, right up to the first day of of your courses. Go to the Guild home page and check your eligibility status in the upper right-hand corner. For more information about eligibility, contact Guild support.

2 — Confirm Your Spot

Once your Guild application is approved, you'll need to confirm your spot in The University of North Carolina at Charlotte MicroBootCamps program for the next start date.

Log in to your Guild account and visit your Applications page to confirm your spot, then either The University of North Carolina at Charlotte MicroBootCamps or Guild will reach out to you with next steps.

Be sure to confirm your spot by the 29th day of the month before your start date, or February 27, if the start date is in March, or you will have to start in a later term.

3 — Create Your The University of North Carolina at Charlotte MicroBootCamps Student Account - DO NOT do this until your start date

On your start date, you'll receive an email with instructions on how to create your student account at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte MicroBootCamps. Remember: do not create this account before your start date, or your tuition might not be covered by your employer.

Please be sure to use the same name, email address, and other personal information you used on your Guild application when creating your student account at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte MicroBootCamps. Using different information may result in delays for your start at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte MicroBootCamps.

After you create your student account, you'll be able to schedule your classes (if applicable), or your classes may automatically populate. This depends on your program, so please follow the directions provided by The University of North Carolina at Charlotte MicroBootCamps to make sure you can access your coursework.

4 — Complete Your The University of North Carolina at Charlotte MicroBootCamps Orientation Process

Make sure to take time to complete the The University of North Carolina at Charlotte MicroBootCamps orientation process to learn more details about your program, expectations, and keys to your academic success!

5 — Complete Your [Insert EV Criteria Here]
