Congratulations!

Congrats on taking the first step toward your learning goals with Guild Academy! Have you received your approval email from Guild? If not, don’t worry. You should get it within seven days of submitting your Guild application.

Once you’re approved, here’s what to expect:

  1. Watch for your start-date emails from the Academy team

  2. Log in to Guild and open Guild Academy on your start date

  3. Learn alongside your cohort and complete your program by the end date

Tech Requirements

Guild Academy programs are fully online. All you need is a computer, tablet, or phone with internet access and a current web browser.

1 — Make Sure You’re Eligible

Check to make sure you're eligible for your company's education benefit, right up to the first day of of your program. Go to the Guild home page and check your eligibility status in the upper right-hand corner. For more information about eligibility, contact Guild support.

2 — Know When Your Program Starts

Guild Academy programs run in cohorts, so everyone in your group starts and finishes on the same dates. Enrollments are processed on the 1st of each month, and your program will start shortly after. If you enroll after the 1st, you’ll join the following month’s cohort.

You’ll hear from the Guild Academy team about 1–3 days before your program starts, and again on your start date. Keep an eye on your inbox, and check your spam folder if you don’t see anything.

3 — Access Guild Academy

There’s no separate account to create. Your Academy profile is set up for you automatically. To get to your program:

  1. Log in to Guild the way you normally do.

  2. If you see two options, select Guild Academy.

  3. Your program tile and a welcome letter from the Academy team will be waiting for you.

You’ll need to choose Guild Academy each time you log in, so bookmark this step if it helps.

If you log in before your start date, you’ll see a countdown on your program tile. You’re welcome to look around and explore resources, but program content unlocks on your start date.

If you have previous education outside of the U.S. (i.e., foreign credentials), there aren’t extra requirements to complete at Guild Academy.

4 — Complete Your Guild Academy Orientation Process

When you first open your program, start with the welcome letter from your employer. Everything else within the program follows a sequential order, with interactive discussions, polls, and quizzes throughout learning modules.

5 — Show Up for Your Cohort

Your cohort is made up of colleagues from your own company, and learning together is a core part of the experience. Engaging with your fellow learners, like commenting on and replying to their posts, counts toward completing your program. You’ll get email notifications from Guild Academy throughout your program, designed to keep you updated on what’s happening in your cohort.

Your program runs for 4-6 weeks with fixed start and end dates, so you’ll have the same window as everyone in your cohort no matter when you first log in. Plan for about 4-6 hours total to complete the program. If you’ve been inactive for a week, or your program is about to close, you’ll get a reminder to help you stay on track.

6 — Complete Your Program with Support

Your Guild support network is here to help at every step. If you have questions, reach out to Guild Support. When you finish your program, you’ll earn a digital certificate.
