Step 1: Get accepted
Congrats on taking the first steps towards your education goals. Have you received your approval email from Guild? If not, don’t worry, you should receive an email within 7 to 10 business days of submitting your Guild application.
If you have received your approval email, double congratulations! Here are your next steps to completing the University of Arizona application:
1 — Expect an email and phone call from UofA’s admissions’ office
Within a few days of submitting your application with Guild, the University of Arizona admissions team will reach out over email and the phone with instructions on how to complete their application. If you have any questions in the meantime, feel free to call UofA enrollment counselors at (520) 621-0898.
2 — Complete the UofA application
Start your application
Fill out your application through University of Arizona Online. This includes submitting your goal statement and resume along with the application packet. Make sure that you apply for the same University of Arizona program that you applied to through Guild. Your approval by Guild to move forward in this program could become invalid if you apply to a different program, which could result in you becoming responsible for paying for your program out of pocket.
For those applying for Bachelor’s of Interdisciplinary Studies or BIS programs, you will want to select Interdisciplinary Studies (IDS) on the application. You will select the concentration/focus you were approved for with your Academic Advisor (SASS) if you are admitted.
Request transcripts
You’ll need to order transcripts from all schools you previously attended, regardless of how long you were there. These transcripts must be sent directly from the previous schools and must be unopened physical or electronic copies.
If you have previous education outside of the U.S. (foreign credentials), there are extra requirements to complete to enroll at UofA.
UofA completes foreign credential evaluations in-house. Official transcripts must be sent from the previous school(s) directly to UofA for an internal evaluation.
An English translation of your non-English transcripts by a NACES member agency or a member of the American Translators Association (ATA) is required. Please review UofA’s policy for certified translations:
An English proficiency exam with a minimum score may be required. Please review UofA’s policy on English proficiency:
Confirm requirements with a UofA admissions counselor before paying out of pocket for a translation and/or exam.
If you need more help with the foreign credentials process, please review this article. You can also message Guild Support or call 1-800-985-4027 (Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. MT).
You can send your transcripts to:
