Congrats on taking the first steps towards your education goals. Have you received your approval email from Guild? If not, don’t worry, you should receive an email within seven days of submitting your Guild application.
If you have received your Guild approval email, double congratulations! Here are your next steps for becoming a Guild student at California State University, Fullerton:
CSUF Requirements & Eligibility Restrictions
As a new or transfer Disney Aspire CSUF applicant, you will need to:
Be a resident of California
Not yet have a bachelor’s degree, if applying for a bachelor's program
Start in a Fall term as a new student (only transfer students can also start in either the Fall or Spring term)
Attend classes through the traditional CSUF campus (your Guild benefit does not cover courses taken through the CSUF Extension and International Program (EIP) or Open University)
Only enroll in eligible Fall or Spring term courses; Summer and Winter terms will not be eligible for Disney Aspire funding. Should you decide to enroll in a Summer or Winter term course, you will need to pay out of pocket.

1 — Make Sure You’re Eligible
Check to make sure you're eligible for your company's education benefit, right up to the first day of of your courses. Go to the Guild home page and check your eligibility status in the upper right-hand corner. For more information about eligibility, contact Guild support.
2 — Submit Your California State University, Fullerton Application
You’ll need to apply for your approved program. You can reference California State University’s Application Dates and Deadlines to see the application window for your approved start term.
Make sure to use the same name, email, and program information that you used in your Guild application, otherwise, you may have to pay out of pocket for your program.
You may need to write a statement of interest for your application, so give yourself plenty of time to complete the application. You may also be required to speak with an Admissions Counselor at CSU Fullerton.
If you are a currently enrolled CSUF student, please email Brenda Hernandez at brhernandez@fullerton.edu to request to be tagged as a Disney Aspire student. You should include the same identifying information from your Guild application as well as your CWID.
3 — Complete Your FAFSA
Gather important documents and complete your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) online. California State University, Fullerton’s Federal School Code is 001137. Follow the detailed instructions provided by the Federal Student Aid office. When you're finished, you may be offered awards which you can accept or decline.

Per the Employer policy, each student enrolling in a program that is eligible for federal financial aid may be required to complete one or more of the following items before initial program enrollment and annually thereafter: FAFSA, financial aid packaging / awarding process, accept any grant aid awarded. If any grants are accepted they will be applied to tuition and mandatory fees before employer payment. If you have questions regarding your Employer education benefit policy, please consult Guild support. If you have questions about financial aid, please contact your learning provider's financial aid office.
4 — Send Your Transcripts to CSU Fullerton
If you have taken college classes before, CSU Fullerton will use your transcripts to complete your application and to possibly apply credits to your new program. You may also have to submit your most recent high school transcripts.
Contact any colleges you have attended and have them send your official transcripts directly to CSU Fullerton. If you need support with sending your transcripts, review Guild's Transcript Help Center.
If you have international credits, please review CSU Fullerton’s policy for international transcripts.

It may take 1-2 months for transcripts to arrive at CSU Fullerton, so order them as soon as possible.

If you have previous education outside of the U.S. (i.e., foreign credentials), there are extra requirements to complete to enroll at CSU Fullerton.
A foreign credential evaluation by a third party credential agency isn’t required. If you choose to have your transcripts sent by a credential agency, note that only World Education Services (WES) or SpanTran evaluations are accepted. An English proficiency exam is required and must meet the minimum score requirements. Please review CSU Fullerton’s English Language Proficiency requirements.
Confirm requirements with CSU Fullerton's Admissions Department before paying out of pocket for an evaluation and/or exam.

5 — Confirm Acceptance & Intent to Enroll at CSU Fullerton
Once you receive a decision letter from CSU Fullerton, follow the instructions provided and be sure to take the appropriate steps to confirm your acceptance at California State University, Fullerton and your intent to enroll into their program.
Upon acceptance, you will be prompted to pay a non-refundable enrollment deposit of $250. This payment is required but, as long as you meet the eligibility requirements, the fee is reimbursable through Guild.
6 — Connect with a CSU Fullerton Admissions Ambassador & Register for Courses
Schedule a meeting with a CSU Fullerton Admissions Ambassador to get ready for starting your program. Admissions Ambassadors are available to support you in your CSU Fullerton program, discuss course-related questions, and share resources available to you at CSU Fullerton.
As a reminder, Aspire does not cover courses offered through CSUF Extension and International Programs (EIP), including Open University. When you are registering for courses, be sure to confirm that the Course Career is listed as Undergraduate or Postbaccalaureate, not Extended Education.
Aspire will only cover courses taken during Fall and Spring terms. Courses taken during Summer and Winter terms will not be eligible for Disney Aspire funding. Should you decide to enroll in a Summer or Winter term course, you will need to pay out of pocket.

7 - Complete Your CSU Fullerton Orientation Process
Make sure to take time to complete the CSU Fullerton orientation process to learn more details about your program, expectations, and keys to your academic success!
The fee associated with required orientations will be paid along with your tuition. Please do not pay this fee upfront.

8 - Get Your Books & Materials Ready
Get your books and other materials ready for your courses. Check the syllabus for each course to find out what you need, and be sure to keep your receipts - you may need them for returns or reimbursements.
9 - Complete Your Coursework at CSU Fullerton
Make sure you stay enrolled past the add/drop date in order to stay enrolled in your program at CSU Fullerton. Failure to do so may result in you being automatically dropped from the program or prevent you from continuing.

10 - Chat with Your Guild Growth Coach for Support
Once you’re past the add/drop period, you’ll have a chance to talk with your Guild Growth Coach. This is the time to discuss your education and career aspirations, ask questions, and set goals for completing your program at CSU Fullerton.
