If you have received your Guild approval email, double congratulations! Here are your next steps for becoming a Guild student at Mercy College of Health Sciences:
Tech Requirements
Students may be required to download software to complete coursework as part of this program and should have access to a personal computer in order to download and access the required software. This software may not be downloadable or accessible on an employer-issued computer.
Mercy College of Health Sciences strongly recommends students own or purchase a Windows or Mac OS portable computer. Note: iPads and Chromebooks are not supported by Mercy College. Please make sure that you have the required tech necessary to successfully participate in the program.
1 — Make Sure You’re Eligible
Check to make sure you're eligible for your company's education benefit, right up to the first day of your courses. Go to the Guild home page and check your eligibility status in the upper right-hand corner. For more information about eligibility, contact Guild support.
2 — Submit Your Mercy College of Health Sciences Application
You will receive an email from Mercy College of Health Sciences with directions on how to apply for acceptance into your chosen program. Be sure to choose the same learning program on your Mercy College of Health Sciences application that you selected on the Guild application, or you may have to pay for the program on your own. Please also be sure to use the same name, email address, and other personal information you used on your Guild application when completing the Mercy College of Health Sciences application. Using different information may result in delays for your start at Mercy College of Health Sciences.
Make sure to read the email completely to understand what is required for your application.
1. You may be required to write a statement of interest for your Mercy College of Health Sciences, so remember to get started on the application in advance of any deadlines.
2. In addition, you may be required to speak with an Admissions Counselor at Mercy College of Health Sciences.
3. You may also be required to provide references. Please follow the instructions provided by Mercy College of Health Sciences in your application process, and request letters of recommendation from professional or academic references who can best speak to your ability to be successful in this program.

3 — Start Your FAFSA
Gather important documents and complete your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) online. Use the Mercy College of Health Sciences code 006273. Follow the detailed instructions provided by the Federal Student Aid office. When you're finished, you may be offered awards which you can accept or decline.

Per the Employer policy, each student enrolling in a program that is eligible for federal financial aid may be required to complete one or more of the following items before initial program enrollment and annually thereafter: FAFSA, financial aid packaging / awarding process, accept any grant aid awarded. If any grants are accepted they will be applied to tuition and mandatory fees before employer payment. If you have questions regarding your Employer education benefit policy, please consult Guild support. If you have questions about financial aid, please contact your learning provider's financial aid office.
4 — Send Your Transcripts to Mercy College of Health Sciences
If you have taken college classes before, Mercy College of Health Sciences will use your transcripts to complete your application and to possibly apply credits to your new program. You may also have to submit your most recent high school transcripts.
If you were able to submit a request for your college transcripts in your Guild Pre-Application, you should be good to go! If you were not able to request transcripts in your Guild Pre-Application, contact any colleges you have attended and have them send your official transcripts directly to Mercy College of Health Sciences.
Note: You may be able to use a service to request your transcripts. To learn more about this process, click here to access Guild's Transcript Help Center.
If you have previous education outside of the U.S. (i.e., foreign credentials), there are extra requirements to complete to enroll at Mercy College of Health Sciences.
You must have the transcript evaluated by a transcript evaluation agency in the USA at your own expense. The evaluation must be completed on a course-by-course level.
Confirm requirements with Mercy College of Health Sciences's Admissions Department before paying out of pocket for any additional translation or exam.

Note: It may take 1-2 months for transcripts to arrive at Mercy College of Health Sciences, so order them as soon as possible.

5 — Complete Your Mercy College of Health Sciences Orientation Process
Make sure to take time to complete the Mercy College of Health Sciences orientation process to learn more details about your program, expectations, and keys to your academic success!
6 — Get Your Books & Materials Ready
Get your books and other materials ready for your courses. Check the syllabus for each course to find out what you need, and be sure to keep your receipts - you may need them for returns or reimbursements.
7 — Continue in Classwork Past Add/Drop
Make sure you stay actively engaged in coursework past the add/drop date in order to stay enrolled in your program at Mercy College of Health Sciences. Failure to do so may result in you being automatically dropped from the program or prevent you from continuing.
8 — Chat with Your Guild Growth Coach for Support
After add/drop passes, you'll have a chance to talk with your Guild Growth Coach. This is the time to discuss your education and career aspirations, ask questions, and set goals for completing your program at Mercy College of Health Sciences.
9 — Complete Your Coursework at Mercy College of Health Sciences
Your Guild support network, along with your Mercy College of Health Sciences support team, will be there to offer guidance and support throughout your program.
