Congrats on taking the first steps towards your education goals. Have you received your approval email from Guild? If not, don’t worry, you should receive an email within 7 to 10 business days of submitting your Guild application.   

If you have received your approval email, double congratulations! Here are your next steps to completing your program through Pathstream:


1 — Confirm your spot

Once your Guild application is approved, you’ll need to confirm your spot in Pathstream’s program for the next start date. 

Log in to your Guild account and visit your Applications page to confirm your spot, then Pathstream will send an enrollment confirmation email in the first week of the month that your program starts

Please be sure to confirm your spot by the 29th* day of the month before your start date or you will have to start in a later term. For example, if your program starts in January, you must confirm your enrollment by December 29th. 

*For programs starting in March, please confirm your enrollment by February 27th.

If you don't confirm your spot by the 29th day, your start date will automatically update to the next start date available (up to 90 days out). You should be able to view your new start date and confirm your spot for the new start date within your Guild portal. If you don't confirm your spot for the updated start date, you will need to re-apply.

2 — Understand the process

Review the steps that are required for you to receive your tuition assistance. Tuition assistance is the word that we use to describe the portion of your tuition that’s covered by your employer. In other words, it’s the “benefit” that you receive when you enroll in a qualified program.

If you have previous education outside of the U.S. (i.e., foreign credentials), there aren't extra requirements to complete at Pathstream.

3 — Connect with Pathstream during the first week of the month

In the first week of the month that your program starts, you will receive a welcome email from Pathstream confirming your enrollment. If you do not receive this email by the day before your program is set to start, please reach out to guild-enrollments@pathstream.com.


You will need to log in to your first course within 14 calendar days of your program start date in order to confirm your participation and remain enrolled with Pathstream. You may also request to drop the program within the first 14 days by sending a request to student-enrollment@pathstream.com. Watch this 2-minute video to learn more about what to expect.

4 — Keep in touch with your Guild Growth Coach

Soon after you’ve enrolled, you should receive an email introducing you to your Guild Growth Coach. Here are some examples of how your Guild Growth Coach can support you: 

  • Goal setting

  • Career exploration

  • Challenging and shifting perspectives

  • Accountability and responsibility 

  • Navigating obstacles

  • Self-discovery 

  • Creating a schedule to help with balancing multiple priorities
