Congratulations!
Congrats on taking the first steps towards your education goals. Have you received your approval email from Guild? If not, don’t worry, you should receive an email within seven days of submitting your Guild application.
If you have received your Guild approval email, double congratulations! Here are your next steps for becoming a Guild student at Regis University:
1 — Make Sure You're Eligible
Check to make sure you're eligible for your company's education benefit, right up to the first day of your courses. Go to the Guild home page and check your eligibility status in the upper right-hand corner. For more information about eligibility, contact Guild support.
2 — Submit Your Regis University Application
After your Guild application is approved, visit regis.edu/apply to apply to your chosen program. You will also receive an email from Regis University with further application and acceptance details. Be sure to choose the same learning program on your Regis University application that you selected on the Guild application, or you may have to pay for the program on your own. Please also be sure to use the same name, email address, and other personal information you used on your Guild application when completing the Regis University application. Using different information may result in delays for your start at Regis University.
For Regis BS in Nursing CHOICE & BS in Nursing Prerequisites (Prep) Students:
Visit regis.edu/apply, and select the CHOICE BSN Prep (For Hospital Partner Employees Only) program or the CHOICE BSN (For Hospital Partner Employees Only) program to apply via your Guild benefit, choosing the program that corresponds to your Guild application.
Do NOT apply via a NursingCAS application. Completion of a NursingCAS application may interfere with your Guild benefit from your employer.
Please note that completion of the BS in Nursing CHOICE Prerequisites (Prep) program does NOT guarantee admission into the BS in Nursing CHOICE program.
Make sure to read the email thoroughly and completely to understand what is required for your application.
You may be required to write a statement of interest for your Regis University application, so remember to get started on the application in advance of any deadlines.
You may also be required to provide references. Please follow the instructions provided by Regis University in your application process, and request letters of recommendation from professional or academic references who can best speak to your ability to be successful in this program.
Next, connect with Regis University’s Admissions Department to complete your application & enrollment process. For more information, please go directly to Regis University's Admissions page.
3 — Start Your FAFSA
Gather important documents and complete your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) online. The Federal School Code for Regis University is 001363. Follow the detailed instructions provided by the Federal Student Aid office. When you're finished, you may be offered awards which you can accept or decline.
You can also go directly to Regis University's Financial Aid website to learn more about the FAFSA process at Regis University.
Per the Employer policy, each student enrolling in a program that is eligible for federal financial aid may be required to complete one or more of the following items before initial program enrollment and annually thereafter: FAFSA, financial aid packaging / awarding process, accept any grant aid awarded. If any grants are accepted they will be applied to tuition and mandatory fees before employer payment. If you have questions regarding your Employer education benefit policy, please consult Guild support. If you have questions about financial aid, please contact your learning provider's financial aid office.
4 — Send Your Transcripts to Regis University
If you have taken college classes before, Regis University will use your transcripts to complete your application and to possibly apply credits to your new program. You may also have to submit your most recent high school transcripts.
If you have previous education outside of the U.S. (i.e., foreign credentials), there are extra requirements to complete to enroll at Regis University.
A general evaluation of your transcripts is required. The evaluation must be sent directly to Regis University from a credential agency of your choosing.
An English translation of non-English transcripts is required. Both the original transcript (in original language) and a certified English translation of the transcript must be sent to Regis University.
An English proficiency exam with a minimum score is required. Please review Regis University’s policy for English proficiency:
Confirm requirements with Regis University's Admissions Department before paying out of pocket for an evaluation, translation, and/or exam.
If you need more help with the foreign credentials process, please review this article. You can also message Guild Support or call 1-800-985-4027 (Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. MT).
