Congratulations!
Congrats on taking the first steps towards your education goals. Have you received your approval email from Guild? If not, don’t worry, you should receive an email within seven days of submitting your Guild application.
If you have received your Guild approval email, double congratulations! Here are your next steps for becoming a Guild student at Stepful:
1 — State Requirements
If you are currently a resident of South Carolina or Washington, you will not be able to complete enrollment for the Stepful Medical Assistant program at this time. If you are currently a resident of Oklahoma or Washington, you will not be able to complete enrollment for the Stepful Pharmacy Technician program at this time.
2 — Tech Requirements
Students will need access to Zoom and Slack, but may use browser version if preferred. No software download required.
Stepful requires a mobile phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop computer with a webcam and a reliable internet connection to complete coursework. Please make sure that you have one of the required devices necessary to successfully participate in the program.
3 — Make Sure You're Eligible
Check to make sure you're eligible for your company's education benefit, right up to the first day of your courses. Go to the Guild home page and check your eligibility status in the upper right-hand corner. For more information about eligibility, contact Guild support.
4 — Confirm Your Spot
Once your Guild application is approved, you'll need to confirm your spot in Stepful's program for the next start date.
Log in to your Guild account and visit your Applications page to confirm your spot, then either Stepful or Guild will reach out to you with next steps.
Be sure to confirm your spot by the 29th day of the month before your start date (or February 27, if the start date is in March) or you will have to start in a later term.
5 — Create Your Stepful Student Account - DO NOT do this until your start date
Students will receive a welcome email about 1 week prior to the start date with instructions to log into Stepful Classroom and select a class time. If you do not receive this email on your start date, make sure to check your spam folder and reach out to Stepful using hello@stepful.com. Remember: do not take action before Stepful reaches out to you to log into Stepful Classroom, or your tuition might not be covered by your employer.
Please be sure to use the same name, email address, and other personal information you used on your Guild application when creating your student account at Stepful. Using different information may result in delays for your start at Stepful.
After you create your student account, you'll be able to schedule your classes (if applicable), or your classes may automatically populate. This depends on your program, so please follow the directions provided by Stepful to make sure you can access your coursework.
6 — Complete Your Stepful Orientation Process
You will receive an invitation from Stepful to attend a live, virtual orientation session. Make sure to take time to attend the Stepful orientation session on Zoom to learn more details about your program, expectations, and keys to your academic success!
7 — Complete Your First Live Course
Students must attend at least 80% of their classes, as attendance is required to remain eligible and on track to graduate.
8 — Chat with Your Guild Growth Coach for Support
Once you've completed your first live course, you'll have a chance to talk with your Guild Growth Coach. This is the time to discuss your education and career aspirations, ask questions, and set goals for completing your program at Stepful.
9 — Complete Your Coursework at Stepful
Your Guild support network, along with your Stepful support team, will be there to offer guidance and support throughout your program. Don't hesitate to reach out to Guild Support for help or Stepful hello@stepful.com with any questions you may have!
