Congrats on taking the first steps towards your education goals. Have you received your approval email from Guild? If not, don’t worry, you should receive an email within seven days of submitting your Guild application.
If you have received your Guild approval email, double congratulations! Here are your next steps for becoming a Guild student at Wharton:
1 — Make Sure You're Eligible
Check to make sure you're eligible for your company's education benefit, right up to the first day of your courses. Go to the Guild home page and check your eligibility status in the upper right-hand corner. Guild has a dedicated Member Support team to answer your questions. For more information about funding, eligibility, or your employer policy contact Guild support.
2 — Confirm Your Spot
Once your Guild application is approved, you'll need to confirm your spot in Wharton’s program for the next start date.
Log in to your Guild account and visit your Applications page to confirm your spot, then either Wharton or Guild will reach out to you with next steps within a few business days.
Be sure to confirm your spot by the 29th day of the month before your start date, or February 27, if the start date is in March, or you will have to start in a later term.
3 — Submit Your Wharton Application
You will receive an email from Wharton with directions on how to apply for acceptance into your chosen program. Please be sure to use the same name, email address, and other personal information you used on your Guild application when completing the Wharton application. Using different information may result in delays for your start at Wharton.
Once you submit your application to the Wharton team, please expect to hear back from them in 2 business days.
4 — Program Confirmation, Experience and Certificate Requirements
In order to secure your funding for this program, you must attend the Program Welcome live session.
You will experience this program through a highly interactive live online format designed to maximize active learning, close engagement with Wharton faculty, and meaningful peer connection. Live sessions are discussion-driven and structured to enable real-time exchange with faculty and participants from diverse organizations; active participation with cameras on is required.

You are expected to prepare in advance, attend the majority of live sessions, and complete program-related practical projects to support active participation and applied learning.
5 — Chat with Your Guild Growth Coach for Support
Once you've completed your course enrollment, you'll have a chance to talk with your Guild Growth Coach. This is the time to discuss your education and career aspirations, ask questions, and set goals for completing your program at Wharton.
6 — Complete Your Coursework with Wharton
Your Guild support network, along with your Wharton support team, will be there to offer guidance and support throughout your program. Don't hesitate to reach out to Guild Support for help or connect with the Wharton shared contact details shared at the program start!
