Step 1: Complete Checklist | Step 2: Get Registered | Step 3: Get Started | Step 4: Ongoing Success
Step 1: Complete Checklist
Congrats on taking the first steps towards your education goals. Have you received your approval email from Guild? If not, don’t worry, you should receive an email within 7 to 10 business days of submitting your Guild application.
If you have received your approval email, double congratulations! Here are your next steps for completing your application for Bellevue University:
1 — Understand the process
Review the steps that are required for you to receive your tuition assistance. Tuition assistance is the word that we use to describe the portion of your tuition that’s covered by your employer. In other words, it’s the “benefit” that you receive when you enroll in a qualified program.

2 — Sign in to your BRUIN portal
You’ll receive communication prompting you to set up your BRUIN Connect Account as soon as Bellevue receives your application, and your admissions counselor should reach out within one business day by phone. If you haven’t received your sign-in info, please call Bellevue Admissions at 1-800-508-9043.
3 — Order official transcripts
You’ll need to order transcripts from every school you attended after high school, regardless of how long you were there. The easiest way to do this is to have your previous schools send transcripts directly to Bellevue, instead of sending them to yourself. If you do receive transcripts, make sure you don’t open them. If you do, Bellevue can no longer use them, even if they’re emailed. Keep in mind, it can take up to two weeks for transcripts to be received and added to your file at Bellevue.
Email transcripts to busrtranscripts@bellevue.edu
OR mailed to:

1000 Galvin Road South
Bellevue, NE 68005
If you have previous education outside of the U.S. (i.e., foreign credentials), there are extra requirements to complete to enroll at Bellevue.
A course-by-course evaluation of your transcripts by an approved NACES member agency is required. This includes Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE) and World Education Services (WES). The evaluation must be sent directly to Bellevue from the credential agency. Please review Bellevue's policy for international transcripts:
An English proficiency exam may be required.
Confirm requirements with Bellevue's Admissions Department before paying out of pocket for an evaluation and/or exam.
If you need more help with the foreign credentials process, please review this article. You can also message Guild Support or call 1-800-985-4027 (Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. MT).
4 — Start FAFSA
Gather important documents and complete your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) online. Bellevue’s Federal School Code is 002538. If you have questions, please visit the FAFSA Help Center. You can also find some resources from Bellevue University regarding different types of Financial Aid. All of those resources are listed below.
Understand financial aid
Review Bellevue’s financial aid resources
Per the Employer policy, each student enrolling in a program that is eligible for federal financial aid may be required to complete one or more of the following items before initial program enrollment and annually thereafter: FAFSA, financial aid packaging / awarding process, accept any grant aid awarded. If any grants are accepted they will be applied to tuition and mandatory fees before employer payment. If you have questions regarding your Employer education benefit policy, please consult Guild support. If you have questions about financial aid, please contact your learning provider's financial aid office.
