Step 2: Get registered

Now you’ve completed your checklist, you’ll need to register for courses and purchase your books and materials. Dive in and explore the resources below for registration.


1 — Keep an eye on your inbox

Once you have been accepted to DU, check your email for next steps. The email subject should read "Get Ready for the University of Denver!". You should also hear from a DU academic advisor in a separate email within a week of your acceptance.

2 — Start registering for classes

Use the email mentioned in the previous step as a guide to registering for classes. It includes the following steps: 

    • Looking out for an email from your DU academic advisor to set up an appointment with them.

    • Accessing your new university email address.

    • Signing in to DU's online learning platform, Canvas.

    • Signing DU's Student Billing Agreement.

3 — Set up an appointment with your DU Academic Advisor

Once your DU Academic Advisor reaches out, set up an appointment with them. In this appointment, you’ll create a degree plan and complete your new student registration form.
